Andrea Eilber, 20, is dating KC Grondin, a coworker she met at the local grocery store.
Friends depict their bond as extremely affectionate. When Andrea accepts the responsibility of house-sitting for her relatives, she plans a cozy movie night with KC. However, upon KC’s arrival, he notices Andrea’s absence, with her car missing from the driveway and no response at the door. Disheartened, KC returns home only to receive a message from Andrea later, calling off their plans and proposing to talk the following day. KC fears a potential breakup, leaving him in despair.
The ensuing day, as attempts to contact Andrea fail, her father mobilizes a search party. Eventually, Andrea’s abandoned car is discovered on a nearby street. A distressing scene unfolds within the house when searchers locate Andrea tied to a chair in the basement, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the back of her head.
Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack delve into the discourse surrounding the erroneous arrest, trial, and conviction by law enforcement while the actual perpetrator roamed at large. The intervention of scientists at Othram subsequently led to the identification of the true culprit, signifying a notable achievement for Othram and DNASolves.com.
