Megan Fox and her Subservience costar Michele Morrone are not dating amid her split from Machine Gun Kelly.
Morrone’s representative debunked any allegations beyond a work relationship as false. They clarified to TMZ on Tuesday, December 10, that the actors had collaborated on a movie a year prior, with Michele currently occupied filming a different project in Italy. This statement responds to online conjecture suggesting closeness between Morrone and Fox in a behind-the-scenes video from the set of Subservience.
Following the news of Fox, who is 38 and expecting, parting ways with MGK, aged 34, social media fans resurfaced a video showcasing interactions between her and Morrone, a 34-year-old Italian actor, which some interpreted as flirtatious. TMZ reported that the clip was recorded on set over a year ago.
On Tuesday, a source told Us Weekly that Fox and MGK (real name Colson Baker) called it quits at the end of November.
An undisclosed source shared insights with Us, stating that the couple sought to reconcile post-pregnancy, but their tumultuous nature resulted in recurring disputes hindering progress. The insider elaborated that their inability to communicate effectively and reconcile differences posed challenges that made being together a struggle for both parties.
While the source added that “they are done for now,” the pair “could very well be back together” at a later time. (TMZ reported earlier on Tuesday that the twosome called it quits over the Thanksgiving holiday.)
In November, Fox, 38, announced she was expecting a rainbow baby. The actress previously revealed in 2023 that she suffered a miscarriage during her relationship with MGK, who has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie from a previous relationship. Fox shares Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
A second source told Us that the couple have had several ups and downs since sharing their baby news last month.
“Megan and MGK have broken up several times since the pregnancy was announced,” the source exclusively told Us. “This was just one of the bigger ones that people have heard about.”
“Their relationship is so full of passion and that leads them to get back together over and over, but also to fight in the most toxic of ways,” the insider added. “Their fights have gotten less intense now that MGK is sober, but they still have such a hard time having a stable relationship with each other.”
Earlier this month, Fox shared her children’s reaction to learning that they were getting a new sibling.
“The kids are all super excited for another addition to the family and have promised to help out and pitch in,” Fox said in a December interview with People.
