Recently, peculiar body camera footage has resurfaced, capturing a drunken woman from Michigan being escorted off an Allegiant plane at a Florida airport. Following this, she was then arrested for continuously giving orders to her embarrassed husband during the incident.
This particular episode involving the disruptive woman, known only as ‘Marcy,’ took place on February 15th last year at the Punta Gorda Airport located in Charlotte County, Florida.
It appears that the plane had already landed, and police were heard saying that they got a 911 call about a woman being belligerent on the aircraft.Â
Prior to Marcy’s removal, a crew member from the flight approached Sergeant Marsh of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department. He was asked if he could assist in deleting any photos or videos from the woman’s phone before she was escorted off the plane.
Marcy would later say on video that she was recording the flight crew so she could later sue them.
After Sergeant Marsh told the flight attendant he couldn’t delete videos off of someone’s phone, he walked Marcy off the plane and onto the tarmac.
The sergeant repeatedly asked Marcy for her ID, which she kept refusing. She’d also sometimes tell him to ‘arrest me.’
Her husband, who told his wife to ‘just give him your ID and we’ll go home,’ incurred much of Marcy’s wrath as well.
‘You, go! This all started because of you,’ she said to her husband.
She got even more frustrated when he began providing her full name to the officer, once again ordering him to ‘go.’
As this was all going on steps from the interior of the airport, she walked away at least three times while demanding to smoke a cigarette.
‘I’m gonna have a f***ing cigarette before I talk to you,’ she said. ‘So you tell me where I’m having it.’
‘You’re not having a cigarette out here,’ the sergeant said.
‘Then arrest me,’ she responded.
Eventually, the sergeant ordered her to turn around so he could put her in handcuffs.
‘Good deal, Marcy. You’re an a*****e,’ her husband said as he abandoned her and walked off into the airport.
As the sergeant was getting her restrained, Marcy mentioned that her son is a police officer as well.
‘My son is so much younger than you and he’s a f***ing sergeant,’ she said. ‘He would do things different. You didn’t even tell me what the problem was.’
At this point, the sergeant began moving her into the airport, which was when she landed on her favorite insult: accusing the officer of having ‘little man syndrome.’
As he walked her through the terminal, the body cam video showed a waiting area that was moderately packed with people about to get on their flights.
That didn’t stop Marcy from going ‘woo!’ as they made their way through the crowd and loudly doubling down that her behavior was Allegiant’s fault for overserving her.
The sergeant took her to a law enforcement-only door that led out of the airport. After a brief scuffle between her and the sergeant where she was banging herself against the door, she revealed that she was on vacation.
‘I’m right here against the f***ing door,’ she said. ‘All I did was come here for a f***ing vacation.’
The sergeant quipped right back: ‘Well, fortunately you’re gonna be doing your first part of the vacation in our jail.’
‘Can’t wait to get in front of that judge because my phone is still f***ing recording,’ she said back.
The video continued with her getting thrown into the backseat of a police truck. Once she was inside, she claimed that what was happening to her was ‘illegal.’
On the way to the jail, she repeatedly asked what she did wrong, only for the officer driving to simply tell her: ‘You’re belligerent and drunk.’
That’s when she upped the ante and claimed she wouldn’t just sue Allegiant, she’d also sue the police department.
‘Allegiant and your a** will be sued. I have my phone, I already videoed,’ she said, adding ‘you must have little man syndrome.’
Unbothered, the officer said: ‘I guess so.’
‘Wait until my son, who’s a sergeant, hears about this f***ing s**t,’ she added.
