ANDREW Tate and his brother Tristan were released from house arrest over people trafficking allegations in January 2025.
Shortly after on February 27, the brothers made a sudden departure from Romania during the early hours of the morning. In this instance, we delve into the controversial influencer’s assertions that he has more children than “99.9 percent of the Western world.”
Andrew and Tristan Tate took off from Bucharest on a private jet from Baneasa airport at approximately 5 am local time (3 am GMT), bound for the United States.
Sources close to the siblings told The Sun they were travelling to Florida.
This incident occurred amidst reports of the Trump administration pressuring the Romanian government to relax travel restrictions on the brothers, despite ongoing investigations as highlighted by the Financial Times.
It was understood the Tates, who have dual UK-US nationality, had been under a tight ban from leaving Romania, which now appears to have been lifted.
An image that has circulated widely on social media and in Romanian news shows Tristan waving while boarding a jet, however it remains unclear if the picture is new.
Does Andrew Tate have children?
Andrew Tate has claimed in the past that he does have kids.
He has never given a specific number but has stated he has “double-digit” numbers of children.
The influencer, who was charged by police in June 2023 as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation, has also stated that his many children live all around the world.
As of February 2025, no woman has publicly come forward to say she’s had a child with Tate.
Not much is known about Tate’s dating history.
He was once linked to businesswoman and influencer Naghel Georgiana Manuela.
Andrew shared a picture of the pair on his since-suspended Instagram account in October 2021.
The rumoured couple were pictured flying in a private jet, with the caption: “Flying in my Jet with the only woman I trust. Magic powers.”
According to the BBC, Meta, which owns social media giants Facebook and Instagram, removed Tate from its platforms for violating its policies on dangerous organisations and individuals.

In December 2022, Naghel was arrested alongside Andrew, his brother Tristan Tate and another woman named Luana Radu.
The foursome were arrested as part of an investigation into human trafficking, rape and organised crime.
Tate and his brother were formally charged with human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women on June 20, 2023.
As of November 2023, the Tate brothers and two Romanian women, who have not been named but were also charged, are awaiting trial.
Tate has also reportedly dated Sofiya Guliyeva.
Not much is known about the pair but it is believed that they got together after Tate noticed her on TikTok.
What has Andrew Tate said about his children?
In September 2022, Tate made the claim that he has many children with multiple women around the globe.
He even went as far as to say that he is seen as a “hero” by his children and the women who gave birth to them.
Tate told the Times: “I am not going to five numbers but I am certain I will have more children than 99.9 per cent of the population of the western world.
“Double-digit children, and they all adore me. They see me as their hero and the women who have my children see me as a hero.
“Everybody close to me respects me. Nobody has ever said that what I am doing is detrimental to the boys. Or the girls.”
It is not known whether known whether Tate’s claims about his children are true.
Following his arrest, Tate’s lawyers claimed that he plays a “character” online for the purposes of entertainment.
Several of his claims, such as his assertion that he was the world’s first “trillionaire”, have since been debunked.
