Jennifer Garner’s Heartwarming Father’s Day Tribute to Ex-Husband Ben Affleck with Unreleased Photo

Jennifer Garner paid a loving Father’s Day tribute to her ex-husband Ben Affleck with a touching throwback photo of the doting dad.

The actress, 53, who shares three children with Affleck, shared a picture of the actor snuggled up with one of their kids.

It’s unclear which one of their three children the baby is, yet the child looked oh-so adorable slumbering upon their father’s chest. 

Affleck rested on a couch as he held his newborn baby with a single hand.  

‘Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot,’ Garner wrote in the snap. 

Garner also shared a video paying tribute to her own father, the late William John Garner.

The heartwarming video, set to the song “Who You Share It With” by Layup, captured Jennifer and her father on a serene walk near a farm. Her father, who passed away last year at the age of 85, shared this special moment with her.

Jennifer expressed, ‘Being raised by a father who truly enjoys fatherhood is a precious gift. My sisters, our children, and I are fortunate to have experienced this love.’ The sentiment was shared in the video.

‘Happy Father’s Day to the Dads, no matter where you are. To the uncles and grandfathers and father figures, too. We love you.’

Garner was raised in West Virginia by William – a chemical engineer – as well as mother Patricia, and has two sisters named Melissa and Susannah.

Jennifer and Ben, who were married from 2005 to 2018, have three children together – Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13. 

Following their unexpected breakup, both Jennifer and Affleck have moved forward in their love lives. Affleck has remarried his former partner Jennifer Lopez, with whom he has recently parted ways.

Jennifer, meanwhile, has been dating businessman John Miller on-off since 2018.

In March, however, Garner and Affleck sparked reconciliation rumors after the actor was seen giving her an embrace whilst paintballing with their children.

Daily Mail later learned Garner is ‘deathly afraid of falling back in love’ with the actor, with a source saying she still has ‘trust issues’ with Affleck following affair rumors with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, now 37, a decade ago. 

‘She loves Ben but is worried that he will crush her all over again,’ the source said. 

‘She doesn’t want to heal another broken heart because it is just too much drama, plus she does not want their kids to see round two of their mom in a bad place with their dad.

‘So much could go wrong if they reunite.’

The photos of Affleck tenderly embracing his ex-wife also resulted in Garner’s boyfriend John feeling a bit bothered about their ‘touchy-feely’ behavior, sources claimed.

‘It would get to anyone, but this is nothing new,’ the insider said. ‘Ben and Jen have a unique relationship, especially for exes.’

After the paintball outing, DailyMail.com confirmed that Garner and Miller were still going strong, with a source spotting them looking cozy on a date night.

The couple were seen ‘holding hands and kissing’ and being ‘very cute with one another’ as they strolled through the Brentwood Country Mart in mid-March, after the hugging event. 

The PDA-filled outing took place in the evening, according to the eyewitness.

‘They are still going strong and appear to be doing really well,’ the source shared.

‘They looked happy and at ease, like a married couple that is thriving. They laughed and smiled at each other. Very cute.’

In a recent update of Garner and Miller’s relationship, Us Weekly reported that John is now living with the Alias actress ‘part time.’

‘John is basically living with Jennifer,’ a source told the publication in April, noting it was only ‘part time.’

The site also claimed he moved out of his Los Angeles home after the wildfires ravaged several neighborhoods in the Southern California city, and he has yet to find a new pad.

‘He has an office in L.A. and splits his time between staying there and at Jennifer’s home,’ the source said.

‘But he’s been staying with Jennifer more often [and] doesn’t want to impose, so he’s looking for his own place… [and] deciding whether he’ll rent or buy.’

Garner and Affleck have remained on good terms since calling it quits as they raise their children together.  

Affleck recently praised Garner as a great ‘co-parent’ during a recent interview with GQ.

‘I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,’ Affleck told the outlet.
