Jennifer Aniston's 'stalker' shoots chilling glare in bizarre shirtless court photos after 'crashing' into her home

Bizarrely, Jennifer Aniston’s alleged stalker showed up shirtless in court shortly after being apprehended for ramming his car into the front gates of the actress’s $21 million mansion while she was present.

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, aged 48, displayed unsettling expressions as he stood shirtless behind a glass partition in a Los Angeles courtroom, covered in an anti-suicide blanket, to answer charges of felony stalking and vandalism.

Aniston was at home during the incident when Carwyle drove his Chrysler PT Cruiser through the gate of her residence in the upscale Bel Air area. A security guard intercepted him in her driveway, holding him at gunpoint until the police arrived and took him into custody.

There were no reports of anyone being injured.

Carwyle is also accused of sending Aniston ‘unwanted social media, voicemail, and email messages’ starting in March 2023, with the last message sent on the same day of the crash, according to the district attorney’s office.

Mississippi man Carwyle did not enter a plea, or speak at all during the arraignment hearing, but intently stared at the courtroom and placed his hands on the glass during the hearing.

It was determined he must go through mental-health court to determine whether he is competent to face the charges against him.

Judge Keith L. Schwartz doubted whether Carwyle would understand him when a prosecutor requested that the defendant, who will remain in jail, be ordered not to get near Aniston.

Carwyle’s lawyer, Deputy Public Defender Toral Malik, said: ‘I don´t believe him staying away from Ms. Aniston will be an issue at this time.

But at a prosecutors’ insistence, Schwartz issued the order anyway.

‘You are not to have any contact with Jennifer Aniston under any conditions’ the judge said.

He was also ordered to stay at least 100yards away from her home.

Judge Schwartz set bail at $150K and called for the next hearing to take place at the Mental Health Court in Hollywood on May 22.

Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in a new release: ‘Stalking is a crime that can quickly escalate from harassment to dangerous, violent actions, threatening the safety of victims and our communities.

‘My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorize others, ensuring they are held accountable.

An Aniston attorney who attended Thursday’s hearing declined comment, and other representatives of the Friends star have not responded to comment requests.

Carwyle also faces an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm. If convicted he could get up to three years in prison.

An insider source previously told DailyMail.com that Aniston was ‘furious’ with the Los Angeles Police Department for releasing her address. The source added that Aniston ‘expected more protection from police.’

Social media posts allegedly from Carwyle have also been unearthed following the crash.

It hasn’t been confirmed if the account is associated with the suspect or an individual with the same name, and the posts appear to have been taken down.

Several posts referred to Aniston as his ‘bride,’ including one posted in October, allegedly referring to the actress as ‘Jennifer Aniston Carwyle.’

Another post allegedly said that he and Aniston would be ‘mended together’ before incoherently drawing comparisons to Adam and Eve.

The District Attorney’s Office accused Carwyle of ‘repeatedly harassing the victim,’  and added that the harassment ‘culminated when he allegedly crashed his vehicle through her front gate, causing substantial damage, and stopped in her driveway.’

Aniston’s security rushed to the scene and reportedly ‘held him at gunpoint’ until they waited for the LAPD to arrive.

Officer Jeff Lee previously said that police responded to a call about a ‘burglary suspect.’

Aniston was home at the time of the crash but never came in contact with the suspect, according to police.

Carwyle had complained about back pain after the crash and was taken to the hospital. The case was then handed over to the LAPD’s Threat Management Unit.

Sources previously told local ABC affiliate, KABC, that Carwyle had a ‘minor’ criminal history.

In addition to the stalking and vandalism charges, Carwyle also faces a charge for aggravating the threat of great bodily harm.

‘Stalking is a crime that can quickly escalate from harassment to dangerous, violent actions, threatening the safety of victims and our communities,’ District Attorney Hochman said.

‘My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorize others, ensuring they are held accountable.’

Hochman added that Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld of LADA’s Stalking and Threat Assessment Team is prosecuting the case.

If convicted, Carwyle could face three years in a state prison.

Aniston has owned her Bel-Air property since 2011 and used the mansion as a venue for her wedding to her ex-husband, actor Justin Theroux.

The actress gave fans a glimpse into her home during a photoshoot in 2018 with Architectural Digest.

The sprawling mansion features four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a wine cellar, a pool, and a guesthouse.

Aniston’s representatives previously declined requests to comment on the impending investigation.
