Jesy Nelson, 33, announces she is pregnant with twins with her former partner Zion Foster, 26, after separating five months ago

Jesy Nelson announced on Sunday that she is expecting twins with her ‘ex-boyfriend’, musician Zion Foster.

The Little Mix star, 33, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a snap of her growing baby bump as she unveiled her pregnancy. 

She was seen in the snap with her ex-boyfriend Zion, 26 – months after the pair were reported to have split in September. 

Jesy revealed she was set to become a mum for the first time to twins as she confessed she was ‘eating for three’, and shared two baby emojis. 

The singer and rapper were first linked in January 2022 before splitting up in November 2023 after Jesy struggled with their nine-year age gap. 

The couple reconciled, only to split up again five months ago. However, they hinted at rekindling their relationship as they posted a cozy picture, announcing their pregnancy.

The couple sparked speculation they had split September after they wiped traces of each other on social media. 

Jesy and Zion previously split last summer after Jesy struggled with their nine year age gap. 

Despite their previous breakup, they reunited and even worked together on some music projects. One track was revealed in August, while there are more collaborations yet to be released.

Following reports of their separation, Zion confirmed they had split as he commented on a OK! TikTok post: ‘Beautiful woman inside and out, wish her nothing but the best’. 

Fans were saddened by the news. They wrote: ‘Aww sad looked like a lovely couple’ and ‘No I was so excited for their tunes’.

‘She deserves to be treated like the gorgeous person that she is’ and ”Omg I’m shocked. They seemed so good together.’ 

When their split was reported last week, a source told The Sun: ‘Jesy and Zion split last month and have completely cut ties with each other. It’s not the first time they have broken up but friends think it’s for good this time.

‘It’s slightly awkward though because they had an EP ready of music they have made together and Jesy doesn’t want it released now.

Jesy confirmed she was back on with boyfriend Zion in November 2023 after they previously split three months prior after nine months of dating 

‘Fans have already heard one of their tracks and were hoping for more, but it’s looking pretty unlikely at this point.’

It came just a month after Jesy was cruelly mocked after an old clip of a duet with  Zion resurfaced, ahead of the release of her latest single Mine.

But ahead of the upcoming song, who sees Jesy featuring with Zion an old clip started circulating again on X – formerly Twitter.

The video – which was shared by both on their respective TikTok pages in June – sees the couple lip syncing a previously teased song which says: ‘He’s 25 and I’m 33, but she’s the realest f***ing man I’ll ever meet.’

The clip earned more than 7,000 likes on Jesy’s account only and started going viral again ahead of her big day, but this time the songstress was slammed for the ‘inappropriate’ lyrics.

Some people were left unimpressed and rushed to comment on the social media platform.

Jesy confirmed she was back on with boyfriend Zion in November 2023 after they previously split three months prior after nine months of dating.

The pair were first pictured together back in January 2023, after it was reported in 2022 they’d grown close.

Jesy’s announcement comes after she raised eyebrows in October when she shared a cryptic post with fans after her former Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards reflected on the end of their friendship.

Singer Jesy quit Little Mix in Decemnber 2020, saying she found the ‘constant pressure’ of being in a girl group very difficult – she has since drifted apart from former bandmates Perrie, Leigh-Ann Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.

After Perrie, 31, spoke about their friendship ending on a podcast, Jesy took to her Instagram Stories and shared a cryptic post.

Speaking to Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, Perrie admitted her shattered friendship with Jesy has inspired a new song. 

She said: ‘I wrote a song about it – a friendship I had that I no longer have. We don’t know how to talk about friendship breakups. 

‘It’s still as heartbreaking – when you go through all these things with someone all the highs and lows and then they’re just gone. 

‘But these things happen. Do we try and rectify things? Or just stay away?’
