Terminally-ill TV star Jonnie Irwin has confessed that he’s “not been feeling great” as he continues to battle lung cancer which has sadly spread to his brain.
Jonnie Irwin issued an update for fans as he headed to North Yorkshire for a spot of antiques shopping – and, as he confessed how unwell he’d been feeling as concerned fans warned him not to overdo it, The Express reports The 49-year-old TV star sadly confided: “I’ve not been feeling great these past couple of days.”
He continued: “‘My brother-in-law Freddie is taking us to an architectural salvage fair at Ripon down in North Yorkshire, so I’ll be posting some pictures of things that we like.”

Jonnie had detailed how exhausted he’d been feeling lately, but seemed upbeat about the prospect of a road trip. He captioned his video footage: “Bit of interiors/ salvage hunting in @ripley_castle_estate.”
He stuck to his word and posted a carousel of photos of the quirky artwork and antiques he’d found on sale there. “Good couple of hours spent walking around and even bumped into a mate who was filming with @drewpritchardantiques who was a pleasure to meet,” he shared.
“Which of these is in the van on the way home do you think?” he quizzed mischievously, inviting fans to guess what he hadn’t been able to resist. “I’ll give you a clue – bought one and now wish I’d bought the other thing,” Jonnie concluded.
He first went public with his cancer diagnosis in November 2022 after keeping it under wraps for two years. Despite the property expert admitting he’d been flagging a little, he was inundated with gentle support from some of his fans.
“You’re looking pretty slick with those sunglasses on!” @instagraeme03 said. @waynelloyd34 chimed in: “You’re looking well. Keep positive.” However, some others asked him to “listen to your body”. @leechydids65 added: “Have a lovely time – but don’t over do it.”
