Despite reports of Kim Kardashian attempting to prevent its release, Kanye West has put out a new track that seems to feature Diddy, Diddy’s son Christian ‘King’ Combs, and West’s daughter North.
The track called LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE made its debut on West’s X account on Saturday.
The song starts with what appears to be Diddy expressing gratitude to Kanye for his support, indicating that nobody else has reached out to him during his time in jail awaiting trial.
Kanye responds by calling Diddy a father figure, even before they knew each other personally.
In a noticeable moment, North can be heard with a brief rap verse proclaiming, ‘When you see me shining, then you see the light,’ while Christian Combs contributes his own rap in the track.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ that Kardashian took legal action to prevent the song’s release.

According to insiders, North recently spent time in the studio with Kanye—their first visit in weeks—where she recorded vocals for the track.Â
Kanye allegedly told her that participating in the song would lead to the release of his upcoming Sunday Service.
After learning about the track, sources claim Kardashian sent cease-and-desist letters demanding that Kanye not move forward with its release, per TMZ.Â
An emergency hearing reportedly took place, which Kanye did not attend, where he allegedly agreed to hold off on dropping the track.
Kardashian is said to be particularly concerned about North’s involvement due to the ongoing legal troubles surrounding Diddy, who is currently facing federal sex trafficking allegations.Â
Insiders say she has been working behind the scenes to keep North out of the situation.
Shortly before releasing the track, Kanye posted an alleged text conversation with Kim, hinting at a brewing conflict by telling fans, ‘We’re going to war,’ per TMZ.Â

The release comes after Kanye revealed he is reviving his gospel choir, Sunday Service, but with a striking new requirement for those who make the cut.
On Thursday, the rapper took to Instagram to announce auditions for male singers in Los Angeles, inviting participants—including children as young as five—to try out for the choir he originally launched in 2019.Â
However, those selected won’t just be joining the group—they’ll also need to adopt a uniform look.
According to Kanye, while a shaved head isn’t necessary for the audition, it will be mandatory for anyone who officially joins the choir.
