Location Location Location’s Phil Spencer surprised fans by sharing a photo of his son, who bears a striking resemblance to him, on the set of his new show New Zealand’s Best Homes.

The 55-year-old property expert usually keeps his two sons, 17-year-old Ben and 21-year-old Jake, away from the public eye, but Ben made an exception for this picture.

Phil took to Instagram to share an insight into what he got up to while filming for the upcoming Channel 4 programme.

Phil was all smiles as she stood next to his teenage boy and a camera man. 

In another snap they posed for a selfie while enjoying some time away from looking at the properties and did a spot of fishing.

Phil captioned the post: ‘Fantastic to be joined by my son in Queenstown for a few more houses & a few days off…’

Fans rushed to the comments section to all say the same thing. 

One said :’He is handsome lad, like his dad. Have an amazing time. So awesome.’

Another added: ‘He’s your doppleganger!’

A third chimed in: ‘He’s just like you.’

‘One of my favourite places in the world. Your son is so like you. That’s a lovely picture,’ a forth wrote.   

A fifth commented: ‘He is the image of you Phil.’

The TV presenter opted for a pink shirt, blue navy jacket and trousers, while his son opted for a grey jumper, chino shorts and white trainers.

Meanwhile Phil’s son looked a natural behind the camera and at ease as he held a clapper board in the beautiful setting.

The show follows Phil around New Zealand as he visits some amazing homes. 

Phil shares his two boys with his wife Fiona. 

The pair tied the knot in 2001 after meeting in the mid 90s.  

Fiona, who is Australian, keeps herself out of the spotlight.

The couple keep their relationship private, but she did move to England from Down Under to be with the telly star. 

Phil shot to fame in the 2000s.

He is arguably best known for being presenter of Location, Location, Location alongside Kirstie Allsopp. 

Phil has worked with Kirstie Allsopp over a number of years on some very popular property programmes, including Location, Location, Location

The pair also host spin-off Relocation, Relocation, Relocation. 

Some other shows include Phil Spencer: Secret Agent and Love It or List It.

Phil also released his book Adding Value to Your Home in 2010.
