Prince Andrew’s ex-girlfriend has sparked fury after claiming ‘lies catch up to you’ as she responded to Virginia Giuffre’s suicide.
The disturbing social media post was circulated among Lady Victoria Hervey’s followers, paired with a snapshot of the news regarding the untimely death of the 41-year-old trafficking victim.
Virginia Giuffre stood out as one of the foremost accusers of the convicted sex offenders, Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She recounted being held as a sex slave by them, transported globally, and offered to their influential connections as if she were a selection of fresh fruit.
Giuffre claimed that they trafficked her to Prince Andrew when she was merely 17 years old, and he sexually assaulted her on three separate occasions – assertions vehemently refuted by the prince. In 2022, Prince Andrew opted for an out-of-court resolution with Giuffre.
Lady Victoria, who had a brief fling with the Prince, reacted to the news saying: ‘When lies catch up to you there’s no way out.’
A second story, two hours later, added: ‘I have taken the decision to pause my posts on Virginia Giuffre at this time.Â
‘Irrespective of the circumstances, suicide in anyone at any time is tragic, and in a young mother who has children, even more so.’
But she is yet to delete her initial statement – which has now been live on her page for seven hours.Â
Lady Victoria was perhaps best known for a brief fling with Prince Andrew before quitting the UK for Hollywood, where she secured a small part in a Tom Hanks movie.
The socialite has since made a name for herself as a cheerleader for Donald Trump and a public defender of her royal ex.Â

Claiming she is a ‘truth warrior’, she has been branded a conspiracy theorist for claiming Covid vaccines were part of a plot orchestrated by Bill Gates to ‘depopulate the world’.
She also has other theories about 9/11, JFK’s assassination and the moon landings.
Reacting with fury after her post, social media users branded her a ‘sick’, while another said it was ‘despicable’.
Lady Victoria claims Prince Andrew was ‘set up’ after an ‘organised attack on the Royal family’, and launched a social media attack on Ms Giuffre, who won a multi-million pound settlement from Prince Andrew following claims she had been forced to have sex with him three times at the age of 17 when she was trafficked by his friend Epstein.
Andrew repeatedly denied her allegations and has said he can’t recall ever meeting her, although a photograph of them together in a London townhouse, his arm around her bare midriff, was included in Giuffre’s lawsuit against him.Â
She insisted Ms Giuffre’s credibility had been ‘destroyed’ after she was released from hospital following a dramatic claim that she had only ‘four days’ to live after a car crash in Australia.Â
Critics slammed the former socialite as ‘nasty’ and ‘vile’ after her brutal Instagram post in which she shared Ms Giuffre’s selfie of herself with a badly bruised face and claiming that she was about to die from kidney failure with the word ‘Karma’.Â
It was accompanied by the soundtrack of Europe’s 1986 hit The Final Countdown to mock her claims.
She later told MailOnline that Ms Giuffre was a ‘fantasist’ who was faking or exaggerating the seriousness of her condition in order to ’emotionally blackmail’ her children who appear to be with her estranged husband.

Virginia Giuffre, with a photo of herself as a teen, when she says she was abused by Jeffrey Epstein

Giuffre claimed she was sexually abused by Prince Andrew at the behest of Epstein’s associate, jailed British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, when she was just 17. She is seen here alongside the two
She added: ‘I got a lot of abuse on social media for calling her out and saying that I never believed her. I have no regrets about what I said, and I have been proved right. Her credibility is destroyed.’
Lady Victoria branded Ms Giuffre, 41 ‘the Queen of the fake photo’.
She has long insisted that Ms Giuffre – who was a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago when she was first approached by Ghislaine Maxwell and introduced to Jeffrey Epstein – used an ‘Irish body double’ to fake the famous photo that appeared to show her as a teenager with Prince Andrew in Maxwell’s London home.
Lady Victoria once claimed that Maxwell had used her as ‘bait’ to attract women to Epstein’s parties but is now fighting to get her released from prison in the US after she was jailed for enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls.
She recently said: ‘I’ve been writing to Ghislaine in prison and am in touch with Prince Andrew, but I can’t discuss him, although the Palace is fully aware of what’s going on.
‘It is delicate, but I think there is hope for Ghislaine.’
Ms Giuffre, who was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein as a teenager, took her own life at her farmhouse in Neergabby on Friday night.Â
She was one of the most prominent accusers of convicted sex offenders Epstein and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who she said kept her as a sex slave while flying her around the world and offering to their powerful associates ‘like a platter of fruit’.Â

On Saturday, Giuffre’s brother Danny Wilson (left) paid tribute to her on social media by displaying a photo of him and his sister.
A WA Police Force spokesperson told the Mail preliminary findings indicated the death was ‘not suspicious’ and that paramedics had provided ’emergency first aid’ shortly after arriving at the home.Â
‘About 9.50pm Friday 25 April, emergency services received a report a woman had been located unresponsive at a residence in Neergabby,’ they said.
‘Police and St John WA attended and provided emergency first-aid. Sadly, the 41-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene.
‘The death is being investigated by Major Crime detectives; early indication is the death is not suspicious.’
Ms Giuffre’s family confirmed her death in a statement, writing that she had lost her life to suicide after grappling with being a sex trafficking victim in her teens.
‘Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking,’ the family wrote in the statement.
‘She was the light that lifted so many survivors. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.’
Epstein killed himself while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges involving dozens of teenage girls and young women, some as young as 14.

Most recently, she had been sharing images of herself to Instagram from a hospital bed after being in a car crash

Originally born in Florida, Giuffre had moved to Australia with her husband Robert in 2019 prior to Epstein being arrested, she is seen here alongside her brother earlier this month
In lawsuits, Ms Giuffre said she was a teenage spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach club, when she was approached in 2000 by Epstein’s girlfriend and later employee, Maxwell.
Ms Giuffre said Maxwell hired her as a masseuse for Epstein, but the couple effectively made her a sexual servant, pressuring her into gratifying not only Epstein but his friends and associates.
Originally born in Florida, Ms Giuffre had moved to Australia with her husband Robert in 2019 prior to Epstein being arrested. The couple share three children.
Most recently, she had been sharing images of herself to Instagram from a hospital bed after being in a car crash, stating doctors told her she had just days to live.
She said her car had been hit by a school bus travelling at over 60mph and the accident had left her with kidney failure.
The photograph showed discolouration to Ms Giuffre’s face and chest which has been described as severe bruising.
Three days after the picture emerged, a spokesman for Giuffre said she had ‘made a mistake’ and had not intended to share the post publicly.
