A South Dakota woman was recently arrested for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old last year while working at a daycare.
KOTA reported that in August, Sarah Hazledine, 48, was accused of incidents that took place while she was working as a teacher at a Spearfish daycare. Despite the allegations, a close friend of Hazledine stated that they believe the accusations are false, with numerous individuals offering to be character witnesses on her behalf.
According to the Mirror, the indictment stated that Hazledine ‘sexually penetrated’ the child last year.
Hazledine, who is currently out on a $75,000 bond, is facing charges of first-degree rape involving a minor under the age of 13 and sexual contact with a minor under 16 years old. Her court hearing is scheduled for April 28.
