The first public appearance of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez after their highly publicized wedding has drawn attention as ‘the wedding of the century’.
The newlyweds smiled and waved at cameras as they stepped out in Venice today ahead of another star-studded party this evening.
Sanchez looked effortlessly chic in a black mini dress and dark shades as she left the Aman hotel this morning as the new Mrs Bezos.
Despite flaunting a dazzling 35-carat white diamond ring valued at $10 million earlier in the week, Sanchez was notably not wearing the ring during their recent outing.
Sanchez revealed the oval-cut ring for the first time when she was dressed in a Schiaparelli gown, showcasing the exquisite piece crafted by jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.
Schwartz has also designed for celebrities including Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and Isha Ambani, who had a star-studded wedding of her own in 2018.
Of course, the multi-million dollar ring wasn’t the biggest expense of the weekend, which is said to cost $20 million.
The couple also splashed out on her custom Dolce & Gabbana gown, as well as the other designer outfits she wore throughout the weekend from Schiaparelli, Dior and more.

The 61-year-old Amazon founder and the former journalist exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 VIPs on San Giorgio Maggiore island on Friday.
Moments after saying ‘I do,’ the bride, 55, took to Instagram to show off her stunning Dolce & Gabbana gown as she shared a loved-up snap of her and her new husband together.
