Live as crash on M1 closes motorway near Sheffield from junction 34 to 35

A section of the M1 Southbound has been closed following a car crash.

The road is currently closed between Junction 34 at Meadowhall and Junction 35 at Rotherham on the southbound carriageway. Sheffield Online reports the crash was between a car and a motorcycle.

Emergency services are currently on the scene. The traffic management system Inrix says the closure is between the north and south roundabouts.
