A Lutcher High School teacher in Louisiana has been arrested for alleged sex crimes involving two teenagers.
A man named Dwayne Thomasee, aged 50, from Gonzales, Louisiana, was apprehended by the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office on Friday. He is facing charges of two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery, as reported by WDSU.
The arrest stems from incidents that occurred between August and November 2024, which were reported by the teens earlier this month.
According to WAFB, Thomasee was Lutcher High School’s assistant football coach and has been placed on administrative leave.
Thomasee’s bond was set at $5,000.
According to WDSU, Thomasee has since bonded out of jail.
