It is that time of the year again when we all sit down to watch classic Christmas films to get into the festive spirit. It wouldn’t be Christmas without watching Love Actually, a film that has become a Christmas classic for many Brits.
One star who found fame in the much-loved festive flick, is actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster. When the film was released in 2003, Thomas was just 13 years old.
He played the role of Sam – a young boy who decides to learn how to play the drums to impress a girl he likes at school. In the film, his character poignantly learns to play the drums to impress her after his mother died. It ends with him chasing her through the airport on Christmas Eve to declare his love before she moves back to America and manages to bag himself a kiss on the cheek.
Who is Thomas Brodie-Sangster?
Thomas landed his first role at the age of 11 in the British TV movie Station Jim in 2001. He shot to fame in 2003 after handing his breakout role on Love Actually. The now 33-year-old has gone on to star in a number of well known TV shows and films.
He has starred in films such Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Dragon Rider and also appeared in a number of hit TV series such as Game of Thrones, The Queen’s Gambit and Doctor Who.

Is Thomas in a relationship?
Earlier this year Thomas announced his engagement to Elon Musk’s two time ex-wife Talulah Riley. The couple have been together for two years after meeting while working on the FX limited series Pistol.
Talulah, an English actress whose film credits include the St Trinian’s film series and The Boat That Rocked, as well as TV series Westworld, was previously married to the billionaire X boss, the pair tied the knot in 2010 in Scotland but got divorced two years later. They decided to give it another go months later and got remarried in 2013, however, they split-up again in 2016.
