A Texas man was charged with killing his wife Wednesday evening at a Houston motel.
The Houston Police received a call to the Moonlight Inn around 6:15 p.m. When they arrived, 36-year-old Myron Lynn Strambler greeted them outside. Inside the motel room, which was in a state of disorder, they discovered the lifeless body of 34-year-old Alicia Michele Strambler on the bathroom floor.

Investigators said she died from blunt force trauma. Charging documents said Myron Strambler admitted killing his wife, saying he hit her with his hand and slammed her head into a wall.
KHOU said Strambler has an extensive criminal record that includes a conviction in 2021 for assaulting a family and a guilty plea in 2009 to two counts of raping a child. He served only four years for that crime.
