Connecticut police are looking for a driver who shot a 12-year-old boy multiple times after a snowball hit a car Wednesday evening.
The boy was hit multiple times but his wounds were desribed as non-life-threatening, WVIT reported.
Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert informed NBC News that after the snowball incident, the driver circled the block to pursue the boy and his 11-year-old companion. The boys were engaged in snowball play when a snowball struck the car, according to Boisvert. He further mentioned that the driver proceeded to shoot at the children.
The other child was not hit by the gunfire.
“It could have been a lot worse,” Boisvert said.
Police are looking for the vehicle involved and say they have video of the incident, WFSB reported.
