Amir Khan has opened the door to fighting KSI after Wayne Bridge pulled out – but he will have to wait for Dillon Danis to do so first.
YouTuber turned boxer KSI was originally scheduled to fight Bridge later in the year. However, Bridge decided to withdraw from the match, citing comments made by KSI about his past as the primary reason for his decision.
Instead of facing Bridge, Danis has now agreed to step into the ring. Danis, who previously lost to KSI’s friend and business partner Logan Paul in a boxing match, will now be KSI’s opponent. The fight is slated to take place on March 29 in Manchester.
Although there have been rumors linking KSI and Khan to a potential boxing match in the past, Khan himself has revealed that they have never actually been in communication. Whether the two will ever have a face-off in the boxing ring remains uncertain.
Khan is open to the fight, but would demand a huge fee, and would have to come out of retirement to do so after hanging up his gloves in 2022.
Speaking to Betway, the former welterweight champion named his price to step back in the ring as he criticised KSI.

‘There is nothing out there that they have said to me,’ the 38-year-old revealed. ‘They keep mentioning my name and calling me out.
‘I’ve never spoken to KSI or anyone from his team, but they know where I am and know how to get in touch with me. We have mutual friends, and they have spoken to some of my mutual friends and asked about the fight, but nobody has come to me.
‘I am my own boss now and have been for the last five years. If they want to negotiate with me, I will speak to them and send it to my lawyer and then negotiations start. I manage everything and know everything in the game. I want £10million for the fight 100 per cent because a fight like that I am not getting cut short with PPV numbers.
 ‘If I want to return to the ring again then I want to make sure I am motivated to get back into the ring. I need something big to push me back to the ring. I have enough money, a big name and have won multiple world titles, the Olympics and a lot of huge fights and tough training. We’re prize fighters.’
Khan did reveal that he has come close to fighting KSI’s long-time rival, Jake Paul, in the past. Paul last fought when he beat Mike Tyson late last year, and had seemingly been set to take on Canelo Alvarez until a U-turn saw the Mexican sign a four-fight deal with Riyadh Season.
The talks didn’t go well, however, and Khan tore into Paul when explaining the details.
‘I had a meeting with Jake Paul’s team, and they said give me a price, what do you want for a fight,’ he said. ‘I know the numbers really well and have been in the biggest fights in boxing. I know the PPV buys, the gate, the food and drink prices and I want a percentage of everything because I’m the one making the show.
‘I gave them my price and they flopped. They didn’t want to move forward. The meeting was a little bit dead, and they don’t know what they’re doing. Jake Paul’s team don’t know what the f*** they are doing.
