Maura Higgins wants to leave her reality TV past behind and mingle with A-List celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber after hanging out with Margot Robbie and the Kardashians.

Maura Higgins has continued to push away from her reality star roots after partying with a host of A-listers at Coachella over the weekend. 

The ex-grid girl gained fame in 2019 after participating in the fifth season of Love Island, where she came in fourth place alongside Curtis Pritchard, an Irish Dancing In The Stars professional.

Since then, she has been making efforts to establish herself in the Hollywood scene. She ventured to present Love Island USA: Aftersun, mingled with celebrities like Margot Robbie, and recently attended the Coachella Festival alongside the Kardashian family.

Last weekend, she rubbed shoulders with Hailey Bieber and her style inspiration Kendall Jenner at Coachella.  

Sharing the moment on her Instagram stories, Maura, the Irish beauty, captured a picture of Hailey, 28, and Kendall, 29, enjoying the sunshine while conversing with friends right by Maura’s side.

Clearly hoping their bond would grow stronger than just acquaintances, she tagged the pair in the snap and wrote : ‘Does this mean we’re besties now’.  

In her bid to become a certified A-lister, she’s previously been accused of trying to upstage Hollywood it girl Kendall, with fans noting how often she copies the A-lister’s outfits.

In a full circle moment, she recently collaborated with Kendall’s sister Kim Kardashian, posing in the star’s SKIMS range. 

Kim was seemingly pleased with the Irish beauty’s work, inviting her to her brand’s Drive-In event in Los Angeles last week. 

Yet the first A-lister Maura rubbed shoulders with was Margot Robbie – who is a self-confessed Love Island superfan. 

They have kept in touch over the years, with Margot inviting Maura to lunch last month at Flute in Broadwick, Soho Hotel.

Posing for a sunny selfie, Maura told her Instagram followers: ‘When Margot Robbie invites you to lunch… you go.’

The next post saw a beaming Margot pouring shots of her Papa Salt Coastal gin and toasting Maura as the delighted Irish star declared: ‘Got me on shots at 2pm WHAT A WOMAN!!!!’

Perhaps keen to make some new high profile pals, Maura captioned her snap: ‘Does this mean we’re besties now’, while tagging the stars in the process.

The likes of Charli XCX, Julia Fox, Nicki Minaj and Cara Delevingne were also mingling in the same VIP area on the star-studded day.

Maura distancing herself from her reality roots in favour of a Hollywood lifestyle seems to have paid off, as last year, she boasted of being asked out by American movie stars, claiming:  ‘I’ve had Hollywood men slide into my DMs.

‘But I’m not going to do that, be flown to Hollywood for a first date. They have to come to me!’

While Maura may be making a name for herself in the States, back in the UK her reputation came into question when she was spotted having a ‘drunken kiss’ with married Danny Jones. 

She was filmed sharing a kiss with the the McFly singer, 39, at a BRIT Awards afterparty last month, with Danny then issuing an apology to his wife of 10 years Georgia.

Maura and Danny met on the twenty fourth series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year.

The Irish reality star was the sixth famous face to be eliminated, while rockstar Danny was crowned winner of the show.

In the wake of the scandal, both Maura and Danny were hit by a wave of criticism, though the Love Island star has not yet spoken out on the scandal.

She has thrown herself into work in recent weeks, jetting to the States to shoot a sizzling campaign with fashion brand, Oh Polly.

Last week, an insider revealed that brands in both the UK and America are hoping to snap her up.

A source told The Sun: ‘Everyone wants more when it comes to Maura and there will be no stopping her this year.’

‘She banked her first million a year after leaving Love Island and she’s on course to more than double that over the next eight months.

‘As well as her huge deal with L’Oreal, her latest clothing collection for Oh Polly sold out immediately.’
