Meghan Markle's Valentine's Day cooking video included a rare glimpse of Lilibet - and royal fans are all saying the same thing about adorable three-year-old

Fans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to express their joy over a recent Instagram video shared by the Duchess.

Meghan, a mother of two, posted a couple of love-themed updates on Instagram in celebration of Valentine’s Day. This came after her departure from Canada, where she was at the Invictus Games, to return to her mansion in California.

One of the posts that caught attention was a heartwarming black and white photo of Meghan, 43, with her husband Harry, 40. Accompanying the image was a caption in which she mentioned missing her Valentine, who was over 1,000 miles away participating in the Games in Vancouver.

Following that post, the former working royal – who quit the UK in 2020, moving back to her native California – shared a rare video of her children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, as they made Valentine’s Day treats with red bagels.

The video posted by the former actress shared an insight into the Susexes’ family life, showing the 43-year-old joined by the two children as she cut strawberries into heart shapes, before serving them with bagels spread with cream cheese.

For many fans of the couple, catching a glimpse of the children was a rare treat, with some taking to social media to express their delight.

One wrote: ‘Harry and Meghan are blessed with a beautiful family. Archie is so tall now and Lili seems so comfortable in the kitchen. She is wielding that butter knife like a pro.’

Another added: ‘OMG a little Glimpse of Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet. What a beautiful day.’

Another happy fan wrote: ‘ALREADY happening! Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are cooking with mama Meghan.’

‘My heart! Princess Lilibet-Diana in her cute Love Heart PJs,’ added a further X user.

Another user simply wrote: ‘Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie,’ adding a number of love heart emojis to the piece.

One fan seemed delighted at the video, writing: ‘My heart! Princess Lilibet-Diana in her cute Love Heart PJs.’

Another was impressed by the young girl’s prowess in the kitchen, saying: ‘Princess Lilibet’s skillful handling of that spatula. So cute! Baby girl been having lots of bonding time in that kitchen with her mama.’

‘OMG a little glimpse of Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet. What a beautiful day,’ a further X user wrote.

And another said: ‘Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet little helpers in the kitchen! Such a beautiful family! Can’t get enough of this! Universe continue blessing this family! #Lovewins #MeghanMarkle.’

Another added: ‘Princess Meghan with her 2 sweet little munchkins Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet making valentines strawberry bagel! Just how sweet is this! It’s a privilege to see the Sussex family in their private space. Thanks for sharing Duchess Meghan! #PrincessMeghan #MeghanMarkle.’

The video came after Meghan shared a black and white photo of her and Harry kissing while enjoying a meal together.

She wrote in the caption: ‘Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families.

‘Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.’

She signed the post ‘M’ and added the hashtag #lovewins – a slogan usually used to celebrate LGBTQ+ couples.

Harry has stayed in Canada to watch the rest of the tournament for injured service personnel and veterans, which will end with today’s closing ceremony.

Following his wife’s departure, the prince reportedly took a day off to relax and ‘unwind’ ahead of attending the remaining events solo.

Plans were not given in advance for security reasons, and a source close to the couple said: ‘This was always planned. Meghan is going home to be with her children.

‘Meghan left the Games in Dusseldorf early after five days to go home. This is Prince Harry’s event and she is there to support him, but this was planned.’

Meghan was spotted disembarking a private jet which brought her home to California during the week.

The Duchess of Sussex, wearing a blue jumper with white letters, was unaccompanied except by a security guard as she stepped off the plush transport inside a hangar at Santa Barbara Airport on Tuesday evening.

Meghan spent five days in Vancouver and the ski resort of Whistler with Harry to mark the seventh edition of the Invictus Games.

Aides said the trip home was pre-planned and Meghan had only intended to stay for five days as she had at the 2023 event in Germany.

Following his wife’s departure, the prince reportedly took a day off to relax and ‘unwind’ ahead of attending the remaining events solo.
