Meghan Markle has now released the complete video featuring herself and her daughter Lilibet engaging in beekeeping activities while wearing matching protective gear. The video was previewed earlier over the weekend before being shared in its entirety.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex uploaded the extended video set to the tune of The Archies’ popular song Sugar, Sugar, a charming reference to her son Archie, aged six.
Her caption read: ‘Look at all of that fresh honeycomb!
‘Harvesting honey with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter; she’s even wearing my gloves)’Â
Like her last post, the clip began with Meghan and Lilibet walking hand-in-hand towards a beehive while wearing appropriate safety suits.Â
The footage shows Meghan carefully extracting a piece of honeycomb and placing it in a glass jar. She then proceeds to drizzle the freshly collected honey over the comb, reminiscent of the jars of wildflower honey retailed by her brand, As Ever.
The original video included a rare glimpse of Lilibet’s face after she could be seen turning towards her mother. Â
The pair wore matching outfits in a vast field, but Lilibet accessorised with a pair of adorable rainbow wellies.
They held hands and were filmed from the back walking towards the hive, before Meghan, 43, bent down and rubbed her daughter on the back.Â
Meghan posted the video just days after her seven-year wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.
She marked it by posting an image of a cork board covered in photographs of her, Prince Harry and their children.
However, royal fans noticed that Meghan left out a crucial detail about the milestone in her caption for the post.
The Duchess wrote: ‘Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories.
‘Thanks to all of you (whether by our side or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you.
‘Happy anniversary!’
Fans noticed the former Suits star failed to name Harry in the post.
Despite the post containing numerous photos of Meghan and Harry together, critics took to X, formerly Twitter, to discuss Meghan’s caption.
Some accused her of making the celebratory day about ‘herself’ because she did not directly mention Harry.
‘Happy Anniversary to me! No mention of my husband. He can be in the photos with ME!’ one user wrote.
‘Meghan Markle just wished herself a Happy Anniversary! Who does that?’
‘Is she wishing happy anniversary to herself?’ a second person asked.
Another wrote: ‘The most epic love story, Meghan Markle’s love of… Meghan Markle.
‘Never seen a woman so obsessed with herself, and there’s zero mention of Harry in her post. Things are spiraling downwards, it seems.’
A third questioned why the post mentioned those who have supported Meghan and Harry’s marriage over the years.
‘Wait, shouldn’t it be addressed to HARRY and not to ‘all of you… who have supported us’? Whose anniversary is it?’ they asked.
It followed a post from a few weeks earlier where she shared a new picture of Archie, 6, and Lilibet while celebrating Mother’s Day in the US.
She could be seen carrying her two children who had their legs wrapped around her waist.Â
She captioned the post: ‘Happy Mother’s Day! ‘Cheers to juggling it all with joy!Â
‘And to these two gems who still attempt to climb “mama mountain”, smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure….being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life.
‘I, too, “love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.”
Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet, are all dressed in angelic white with palm trees seen in the distance.Â
