AN INFLUENCER was barred from flying back home to Brazil after cosmetic ops left her looking nothing like her passport photo.
Actress Gessica Kayane, known as “Gkay”, revealed she even had to show officers her before and after pics to convince them.

The awkward incident unfolded on Thursday when Gkay, 32, was stopped by immigration officials while returning from a trip.
Gkay shared on her Instagram stories how she almost faced being denied entry to a country due to the disparity between her current appearance and the photos on her official documents.
Things apparently only got worse when she showed them her national identity card and driving licence – as they look even less like she does now.
The grainy, natural snaps contrast to her glossy, groomed look today.
Gkay has been candid about the cosmetic procedures she’s had over the years.
They include a breast enlargement and lift, a rhinoplasty to reshape her nose, fat removal from her jawline and cheeks, along with lip fillers.
Unfazed, she showed passport officials her before and after surgery pictures on social media so they would let her back into the country.
Gkay joked: “I’m glad I had my Instagram and several ‘before and after’ to prove it.”
She added: “First things to do back to Brazil – update all the photos of my documents.”
This incident follows the plight of three Chinese women who found themselves stuck at an airport after undergoing a cosmetic procedure that drastically altered their facial features, making them unrecognizable from their passport pictures.
The situation unfolded at a South Korean airport, where the group of tourists had traveled during China’s recent “Golden Week” national holiday.
But while on their way back, the women with swollen faces and bandages around their head are said to have been detained by South Korean immigration officers at passport control.
Despite having all their tickets and documents ready, the trio were unable to prove that they were the same people in the photos – because the treatment had left their faces so swollen.
Another influencer is suing a plastic surgeon for £1.7million after claiming her “overly large” breast implants ruined her career.
Danielle Mansutti says she was left with “disfigured” breasts and a “very poor cosmetic appearance” after undergoing three operations.
The 30-year-old, who has amassed 1.6million subscribers on YouTube for her make up tutorials and fashion videos, first went under the knife in December 2020.
She then had further surgery in January and May 2021 after her left breast began to droop.
She then had further surgery in January and May 2021 after her left breast began to droop and her nipple started to “point outwards”.
This reportedly caused her chest muscles on her left side to tear away from the bone – leaving her in agony and with asymmetrical breasts.
