Oregon police said on Tuesday that a body has been found amid the ongoing search for a 2-year-old boy who vanished earlier this month.
A diver found a body in Siletz, as reported by KATU. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was searching for Dane Paulsen, missing since March 1, by the Siletz River, as announced on March 4.

Paulsen’s body was found in the river, about three miles away from his residence, as confirmed by the Lincoln County police according to KOIN. The cause of his death will be determined by a medical examiner.
As stated by KOIN, volunteer diver Juan Heredia from Angels Recovery Dive Team discovered Paulsen’s body while assisting in the search, which was conducted at the family’s behest.
Officials previously indicated that foul play was not suspected in Paulsen’s disappearance.
