An AMBER Aleet has been issued for a missing pregnant Wisconsin teen who hasn’t been seen in days.
According to a report from ABC 7 Chicago, police suspect that 16-year-old Sophia Martin Franklin is currently with 40-year-old Gary F. Day, who is believed to be the father of her unborn child. Franklin was last spotted at her residence around 9 p.m. on February 2, located near 4th and Beaver in Beaver Dam.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Day. He faces two counts of child enticement and two counts of child abduction in Dodge County.
Day may have changed the license plates on his vehicle in an attempt to avoid being caught. Authorities identified his suspected vehicle in Wisconsin on the morning of February 3, displaying Pennsylvania license plate KGW 5186.
The initial AMBER Alert reported that the black Buick Lacrosse with an Arkansas plate.
Chief John Kreuziger of the Beaver Dam Police Department urged the public to share Franklin’s photo and provide any relevant information by contacting local law enforcement agencies. He emphasized the importance of reporting any sightings or tips to ensure Franklin’s safe return, as per a report from ABC 2.
Franklin is described as a white female who stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs around 186 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Authorities described Day as a white male, standing 5 feet , 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He has blonde or balding hair and green eyes.
