A Massachusetts man was arrested this week on multple rape and other charges.
Nicholas Carnazza has been accused of several serious offenses, including three charges of aggravated rape, kidnapping, indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older, and intimidation of a witness. The Rochester Police Department did not disclose specific details about the crimes he is alleged to have committed.
Rochester Police Chief Michael A. Assad Jr. mentioned that multiple law enforcement agencies collaborated in the apprehension of Carnazza. The effort involved the assistance of the Mattapoisett Police, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Massachusetts Environmental Police.
