A man was arrested on Tuesday, a day after he allegedly stabbed a woman to death at her north Georgia home.
Brian Moree faced allegations of causing the death of Adrina Long, aged 28, in Whitfield County on Monday. Reports from The Times Free Press indicated that Long passed away at the location, and Moree ran away on foot.
Upon arrival, a deputy witnessed a man exiting the residence before finding Long’s body inside. Moree was captured four hours later in the nearby wooded area, as reported by WAGA.
Officials have not disclosed the relationship between Moree and Long. A motive remains undisclosed.
Moree is being held at Whitfield County Jail on a murder charge.
