THIS is the shocking moment a plane smashes into a busy road and wipes out a bus in a fireball, leaving two dead and seven injured.
The plane in Sao Paulo, Brazil, reportedly tried to make an emergency landing on the busy Marques de Sao Vicente Avenue.
Horrific footage captured of the incident shows the the plane travelling at lightening speed as it plunges towards the road.
The jet smashes into the middle of a junction and erupts into an orange fireball before skidding down a busy street.
Gargantuan plumes of black smoke are captured leaving a deadly trail behind it.
Footage shows a line of cars caught at a red light very close to where the plane crashed, indicating a harrowing near-miss for some.
Another clip displays the bus struck by the plane, its rear half destroyed by fire as firefighters work fervently to extinguish the flames.
Two people who were on the bus were injured in the horror incident but the extent of their injuries is currently unclear.
Six people were rescued by emergency crews and the bus driver was treated for an anxiety attack, according to Globo.
The King Air F90 light aircraft was flying over the Barra Funda town in the western part of the city.
Two charred bodies were tragically found inside the plane and at least three people were left injured, according to the local fire department.
The plane crashed at around 7.20am local time (10.20am GMT) on Friday.
Witnesses reported hearing a huge explosion which was quickly followed by a large cloud of black smoke, according to Globo.
A motorcyclist, passing by the devastating scene, was injured by debris from the horror collision.
The doomed plane had space for eight people on board but firefighters confirmed two people were on the aircraft at the time.
The King Air F90 light aircraft allegedly departed from the Campo de Marte airport in Sao Paulo at 7:15 am, but communication with the plane was lost by the control tower two minutes later.
This plane was reportedly heading to the city of Porto Alegre before its shock fate.
A witness, João Lucas da Silva Amaral, reported seeing the plane hit a tree then start dumping kerosene before the crash, according to Globo.
He said: “When it hit the ground, it exploded and we ran.”
Another witness, Genival Dantas Arraes, described a chilling fireball forming after impact.
He said: “I was going to take the access to Avenida Sumaré and was going to take the return, when suddenly the plane came down the avenue and I just saw everything flying and the fireball.
“It exploded immediately. Everyone was paralyzed.
“The plane was ripping up palm trees and signs. It went by very quickly.”
A third local, Adriano Rolim, revealed what happened just seconds before the deadly impact.
He said: “The pilot tried to land on Marques de São Vicente, and fortunately many cars swerved, but the plane hit the back of the bus and ended up exploding.
“The impact was huge, very scary.”
Police and the Brazilian Air Force have launched an investigation in the shock crash.
The Secretary of Public Security of Sao Paulo, Guilherme Derrite, revealed several teams had been deployed in response to the horror blaze.
He said: “Our teams are working on the crash of a twin-engine plane on Av. Marques de Sao Vicente, in Sao Paulo. The Fire Department controlled the flames.
“Teams from the Military Police, Civil Police and Technical-Scientific Police are also supporting the incident.”
The airspace over the crash site has been closed following the incident.
