BELOVED Lady and Larder founder Rebecca Wylie Simms has tragically died after surgery complications, according to her twin sister.
Tributes have flooded in for the popular food influencer who was described as a “magic maker” and the “brightest light”.
Rebecca, who was affectionately nicknamed Boo by her pals, was said to have passed away today in California.
An emotional post on the official Lady and Larder Instagram account conveyed the heartbreaking news of Boo Simms, the twin sister and co-founder of the company, passing away this week due to complications from a surgical procedure.
“This loss is immeasurable, and our hearts are completely shattered.
“Boo was our magic maker, our color painter, and the brightest light I have ever known.
“We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this overwhelmingly painful time.”
The heartbreaking post was signed off by co-founder of Lady and Larder and Rebecca’s twin sister Sarah Simms Hendrix.
Another friend said: “Rebecca was a beacon of light in the creative world.”
