Russell Brand is offering support to OnlyFans model Lily Phillips following his recent conversion to Christianity.
The comedian, who recently embraced Christianity, shared a message on social media stating, ‘Jesus loves Lily Phillips.’ This came after Phillips, a 23-year-old woman, gained attention for reportedly being involved with over 100 men in one night.
Brand, who is a reformed sex addict, also used his sordid past to offer the young model some advice.Â
‘I can relate,’ he said in a video shared to social media. ‘I know what it’s like to commodify sex and to look to sex for some kind of fulfillment.’
He continued, ‘I would pray that all of us that have looked for love in the wrong places are able to find what it is we’re truly looking for.’
‘Dignity, sanctity, and sacred love with one another, rather than making everything profane.’
Revealing his thoughts, the star of Rock of Ages, aged 49, also expressed, ‘We should show love and forgiveness towards each other. There is redemption for everyone, and by transforming ourselves, we can contribute to creating a more positive society.’
Brand’s touching message resonated with his followers, with many commenting and saying that they were praying for Lily.
‘A true Christian, speaking to a lost young woman instead of chastising her. She just needs severe guidance and Jesus,’ wrote one.
‘God’s light chased this man until it found him,’ another commented.
A third wrote, ‘This is why God chose you, converted, and allowed you to connect and communicate things to their level and speak their language.’
However, some of Brand’s more evangelical fans were concerned by his support of the X-rated performer.Â
However, there were contrasting opinions, with one individual cautioning, ‘It’s important to be mindful of such statements as they may suggest a validation for any actions. While God’s love for us is unconditional, it is also essential for us to seek repentance for our wrongdoings.’
Another wrote, ‘Jesus loves everyone, but only grants salvation to those who love and serve Him.’
Former Buddhist Brand was baptized back in April, calling it an opportunity ‘to die and be reborn.’
In October 2023, he faced serious accusations from a series of women, including rape and sexual assault when four women made allegations. The actor has strenuously denied wrongdoing, and says he has evidence to refute allegations.
Lily, 23, bedded the men back in October to create content for her OnlyFans page, and also chronicled the experience for the Goon Squad Productions YouTube documentary, I Slept With 100 Men in One Day.
While she had publicly portrayed the stunt in a positive light, the documentary reveals that Lily was an emotional wreck behind the scenes.
Visibly sobbing, Lily told host Josh Pieters, ‘Sometimes you just disassociate… it’s not like normal sex at all.’
She continued, ‘In my head I can think of five, six guys, 10 guys that I remember. And that’s it. It’s just weird, isn’t it? If I didn’t have the videos I wouldn’t have known that I’d done a hundred.’Â
The young woman also admitted that she felt ‘robotic’ during the act, on top of being racked with guilt that she wasn’t giving all the men the experience that they wanted.
‘I guess when you’ve promised something to people who support you it’s kinda hard to let them down,’ she said through tears.
Lily also issued a warning to young girls planning to follow in her footsteps.
‘It’s not for the weak girls, if I’m honest. It was hard. I don’t know if I’d recommend it. It’s a different feeling. It’s just one in one out, it feels intense,’ she said.
Despite her poor experience bedding 100 men, Lily is determined to raise the bar by sleeping with 1,000 men in 24 hours for her next sexual stunt.
