The remains of a North Carolina mom missing for more than year have been found by dive teams in Vance County.
The remains of Dana Leigh Mustian have been positively identified by the state medical examiner’s office, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, the agency that spearheaded the search efforts.
Mustian, aged 33, was last spotted at her residence in Warrensburg on November 30, 2023, after her father left her at home. CrimeOnline documentation highlighted that she was declared missing on December 4. Her disappearance was noted when she did not show up for her daughter’s sixth birthday celebration over that weekend.
No further details were provided by law enforcement, which said they are still investigating Mustian’s death.
