Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have just dropped their latest collaborative track, “Sunset Blvd,” along with a sultry music video.
This track finds its inspiration from the couple’s first date on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, a special moment they recently commemorated by returning to Jitlada Thai Restaurant, the place where their love story began. The song “Sunset Blvd” is the third release from their upcoming album, “I Said I Love You First,” scheduled for release on March 21.

In the music video, directed by Petra Collins, Selena is portrayed in a setting filled with nostalgia and romance, often lost in thoughts about Benny. The video includes light-hearted scenes, such as Benny appearing as a miniature version of himself, and concludes with a playful moment where Selena pretends to playfully bite him. The lyrics are daring, with Selena expressing her eagerness to embrace Blanco’s “big hard heart,” all the while delivering her signature sultry vocals.
“Sunset Blvd” comes after their previous singles “Scared of Loving You,” which was co-written with Finneas, and “Call Me When You Break Up,” featuring Gracie Abrams.
The album tells their love story, chronicling their journey from before they met to their evolving relationship and future dreams together. Selena and Benny’s collaboration showcases the comfort and chemistry they share when creating music.
The album will also see features from artists like J. Balvin and Tainy. For Selena, this release is her first since 2020’s “Rare,” while Benny hasn’t put out a new album since 2018’s “Friends Keep Secrets.”
With their engagement in December 2024, there’s a personal flair to their musical project, making “I Said I Love You First” something fans are eagerly anticipating.
