THIS is the chilling moment a beloved TikTok personality was brutally shot dead while filming a livestream.
Jabari Johnson, known online as “BabaSkenng”, was chatting and laughing with another TikToker just seconds before his killer struck in cold blood.
The social media star, 25, was said to have been live streaming while engaging in a game with another TikToker near a local shop in St Andrew, Jamaica, at approximately 6.30pm on Monday.
Footage shows a man calmly approaching Johnson from behind on foot before opening fire at close range.
In the part of the footage we will now show, Johnson was hit multiple times in the head and upper body, while shouts of terror can be heard.
The gunman can then be seeing fleeing on foot.
The harrowing clip – captured via screen recording – has since been widely shared online.
Johnson tragically died at the scene.
Authorities from the St Andrew North Police Division have launched a full investigation.
So far this year, the division has recorded 12 murders, closely corresponding to the 14 over the same period in 2024,
Fans have flooded the Johnson’s pages with tributes.
This incident follows another tragic event involving TikTok personality Gordo Percui and his wife, who were fatally shot in a gang-related attack last December near their residence in Culiacán, north-western Mexico.
Leovardo Asipuro Soto was struck multiple times and tragically died on the spot.
His wife Brenda Félix was taken to hospital in a critical condition before later succumbing to her injuries.
The shooting took place outside their home in Culiacán, north-western Mexico, at around 10pm on 9 December.
The authorities have opened an investigation into the horror killings, but no arrests have been reported yet.
The internet sensation was best known for creating comedy content for his one million followers on TikTok and 470,000 on Instagram.
Leovardo also had a popular YouTube channel with 172,000 subscribers where he performed sketches and told humorous stories.
He gained fame for his collaborations with Marco Eduardo Castro Cárdenas, better known as Markitos Toys.
