Something Good Social Kitchen serving up burgers and hot dogs at Playhouse Square in Cleveland: First look

The menu at Something Good Social Kitchen features a variety of hot dogs, chopped-style burgers and fries — all with feel-good names.

CLEVELAND — There’s a new place to grab a bite to eat at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland: Welcome to Something Good Social Kitchen.

This brand-new establishment, located at a cart in the Playhouse Square Plaza, was co-founded by Ricky Smith, the mastermind behind Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere (RAKE).

Something Good Social Kitchen is focused on charity. That’s because every time a meal is purchased, a free meal is donated to somebody in need.

Feeling hungry? Something Good Social Kitchen’s menu showcases a variety of hot dogs, burgers with a chopped style, and fries with names that will lift your spirits. Let’s take a closer look at some of the offerings:

HOT DOGS

  • White American cheese, Cleveland Ketchup Co. ketchup, Pop Mustard and sweet relish.
  • Crispy bacon, crispy onion straws and BBQ sauce.
  • Beef chili, cheddar and white American cheese.

BURGERS

  • Chopped burger tossed with BBQ sauce, sautéed green peppers and onions.
  • Mushrooms, grilled onions, Swiss and American cheese and banana peppers.
  • Chopped burger with yellow American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and special sauce.

3News’ David Greenberg paid a visit to Something Good Social Kitchen just before their official grand opening on Tuesday morning to provide a sneak peek of what patrons can anticipate – and you can catch all of that in the videos featured below.

Something Good Social Kitchen also serves up a free joke of the day.

“Laughter burns calories. You’re welcome,” according to a message on their menu.
