A jury has been seated in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking trial.
The proceedings began with prosecutors delivering their opening statements, which were then followed by witness testimony. There is still some uncertainty surrounding whether “Victim 3” will take the stand, as a prosecutor revealed last week that both the witness and her attorney were missing.
Next in line to testify is “Victim 1,” Cassie Ventura, who will be the prosecution’s third witness. It is anticipated that Combs’ defense team may attempt to undermine her testimony by painting her as confrontational and violent, suggesting that she has a personality too strong to have been coerced.
