A notorious criminal, known as the Connecticut River Valley serial killer, is thought to have committed a series of heinous murders between 1978 and 1988 in the densely forested area straddling New Hampshire and Vermont.
The killer targeted at least seven women, many of whom were young and found stabbed to death in remote areas.
Zone 7’s latest installment features an interview with Crime Scene Investigator Sheryl McCollum and Jane Boroski, the sole survivor of the Connecticut River Valley serial killer’s attacks. Jane, who was brutally assaulted while seven months pregnant and left with 27 stab wounds, courageously recounts the harrowing events of that fateful night and the arduous journey towards recovery.
Joining the discussion are Amanda and Drew Bedard, Jane’s devoted companions and co-hosts of the Invisible Tears podcast. Together, they delve into the profound impacts of trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and survivor’s guilt on Jane’s life, highlighting how her advocacy work has become a source of purpose and healing.
