Alabama police arrested a man last week for allegedly sexually abusing a child.
Limestone County police were contacted by the victim’s family who claimed to have caught Luis Lopez-Martinez, aged 38, in the act of sexually abusing the child. Following his detainment at the location, Lopez-Martinez confessed to the offense while being questioned by the authorities, as reported by WAFF.
“It is what it is,” he allegedly told police regarding the reported child molestation.
Facing charges of sexual abuse involving a child below the age of 12, Lopez-Martinez had his bond established at $250,000. However, an immigration hold has been placed on him as he is a national of Guatemala.
