The competition heats up as Danny Jones wins over Coleen Rooney in “I’m A Celebrity,” and now they will face off again for a chance to become TV stars, as ITV promises to boost their fame.

I’m A Celebrity’s Danny Jones and Coleen Rooney are set to go head-to-head once again as they’re both being lined up to be major TV stars.

Sunday night’s nail-biting final saw the McFly rocker, 38, emerge victorious as he narrowly beat the WAG, also 38, to the top spot.

ITV is apparently not ready to put the feud between the two aside just yet, as they are said to be interested in having them host significant TV programs following their success in the jungle.

During Sunday’s final, winner Danny told how he wanted to spend more time with his loved ones after admitting he ‘prioritised his job so much’. 

Despite this, ITV has different intentions as executives are eager to establish the musician as one of the key figures on the channel, alongside personalities like Joel Dommett and Bradley Walsh.

Even though Danny is already a part of ITV’s The Voice UK with his bandmate Tom Fletcher, reports suggest that the network is eager to secure his involvement in more projects, as per The Sun.

A source told the publication: ‘Danny is the embodiment of everything ITV loves. He’s fun, family friendly and incredibly popular.

‘Watching how popular he was on I’m A Celeb made him a key target for other shows they have coming up. Danny is a brilliant musician, but he is also great on TV.’

The insider adder: ‘ITV bosses want to see if they can sign him on for another series of The Voice UK and there are other shows they think he could be perfect on.’

Meanwhile, Coleen is poised to become ITV’s new golden girl and is allegedly being lined up for a £1million TV deal with the channel. 

A source reported to The Sun: ‘Coleen’s return to public life following the Wagatha Christie trial was carefully orchestrated — and it has more than paid off.

‘When she was in the jungle, she was being touted as ITV’s next Holly Willoughby and the offers have already started flooding in. But there is one deal on the table that has really piqued her team’s interest.

‘Given Coleen’s love of the Loose Women show too, the team want her secured on their guest roster, with a view to finding something more permanent for her.’

The insider went on to add that in addition to TV deals, ‘lifestyle and nutritional brands’ and ‘high street retailers’ have been trying to entice her with lucrative contracts, noting: ‘The sky’s the limit’.

Ahead of the show kicking off last month, ITV already began plotting maximum coverage to make Coleen a huge star by airing her Disney+ Wagatha Christie documentary. 

According to insiders, network bosses were hoping this will be the start of a long  partnership with Coleen, with the door open for ‘huge TV deals’ and offers of This Morning appearances. 

A source told MailOnline last month: ‘ITV have been asking her for I’m A Celebrity for ages but they’ve also asked her to do other shows and get her on This Morning. 

‘She has always said no and now this is her time. She is going to be the biggest paid star on I’m A Celebrity. The door is open to huge TV deals now. 

‘It’s time for Coleen. ITV knows she resonates with the viewers and she could well become Queen of the Jungle. ITV are going to go for it and so is she.

‘Wayne’s football career is over now and it is her turn to shine. Wayne is so supportive of her. 

‘She’s been offered so many shows in the past and now she’s going to say yes.’

Wayne, 39, retired from playing football in 2021 and is now the manager of EFL Championship club Plymouth Argyle.

Bosses are hoping Coleen’s popularity could provide a huge boost in ratings for the broadcaster, after a turbulent year following Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby’s departure from This Morning. 

During the emotional final, McFly star Danny broke down in tears as he met wife Georgia, whom he shares son Cooper, six, with, on the bridge with open arms in an emotional reunion after three weeks.

Although over the moon for campmate Danny, Coleen said she was ‘gutted’ after she shortly-missed out on becoming Queen Of The Jungle.

Before Ant and Dec revealed the winner, after receiving an incredible 10 million votes, it was clear Coleen wanted to win and have all the glory in the Rooney household.

Asked what it would mean to her if she won, Coleen said: ‘My boys have been proud of their dad for so long, it’s my turn now.’

After his win, Danny said: ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I gave my all in there and it is a lovely feeling to be liked. I appreciate it so much.’

Ant and Dec announced earlier in the episode third placed star Reverend Richard Coles was the tenth celebrity to be evicted.

While in the Jungle, Danny charmed the nation with his charm and no doubt had the backing of staunch McFly fans after he opened up about his struggles with anxiety. 

Prior to his win, Danny said: ‘It was way harder. I hope it comes across on TV but it is really hard. You’re tired, lethargic and hungry.

‘I’ve been my true self and shown what only my closest nearest and dearests’ sees.

‘I’ve learnt how valuable time is with loved ones. I always prioritise my job so much but I think I need to come out of it and practise that, time is precious.’

‘It has been almost like therapy’, Danny added.

‘What this jungle does is give you perspective on your life. I’ve learned something personally, I am coming out this jungle with something I have learnt something about myself.

‘Voting for just me is quite nice. The band has always been voted for but it is something really nice just voting for me just being my self.’
