Three teen girls in Texas were arrested on Sunday for trying to kill their mother.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez revealed that three teenage girls, aged 14, 15, and 16, assaulted their mother in their Houston residence after she disconnected the Wi-Fi. They pursued their mother throughout the house and onto the street, wielding a kitchen knife and hitting her in the head with a brick, as reported by KTRK.
Gonzalez said the girls’ grandmother was also knocked down while trying to protect the mother.
As per the Houston Chronicle, Gonzalez stated that the mother and another individual involved did not sustain severe injuries. Subsequently, the three girls were arrested and taken into custody, charged with aggravated assault using a lethal weapon.
The three girls were not publicly named, presumably due to their ages.
