Missouri police found a man and his two children shot to death in a burning home Thursday night.
Kansas City Police arrived at the home for a welfare check at about 9:45 p.m. but backed away when they saw fire in the home, KMBC reported.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and officers found Zachary Hatcher, 39; Jeffery Hatcher, 8; and Charlotte Hatcher, 6, inside.
According to KHSB, the boy who was involved in the accident was taken to a hospital but unfortunately passed away. The girl and her father, however, were declared dead at the scene.
Police said the deaths are considered homicides, but they aren’t looking for any suspects.
