One fatality has been reported and five individuals have sustained injuries in a mass shooting that took place outside a warehouse in Ohio.
The sound of gunfire was audible outside the cosmetics factory in New Albany, which is situated approximately 17 miles away from Columbus, on Tuesday evening.

Law enforcement officers disclosed that the shooting seems to have been a deliberate and specific attack, according to information provided by the NBC affiliate WCMH-TV.
But the motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
Around 20 people were moved from one building to another as chaos unfolded.
It’s believed that 150 people were inside the warehouse when the shooting unfolded at around 10:20pm local time.
And, cops have revealed the suspect is still on the loose but a gun has been found at the scene.
They have not revealed their identity, but believe there are the only suspect.
Cops do not think the shooter is still at the warehouse.
Police have not revealed if the suspect is an employee at the manufacturing plant.
The five injured people have been taken to their hospital, but their condition remains unknown.
The KDC/One warehouse, where the shooting unfolded, produces cosmetics for LBrands stores.
Anyone with information should call the New Albany Police Department on 614-855-1234.
The Gun Violence Archive defines a mass shooting as an incident where at least four people have been injured or killed by a gun.
SPATE OF VIOLENCE
So far, the US has experienced more than two dozen mass shootings in 2025.
On February 2, one person was killed and three were left injured in a shooting that rocked Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Last week, one person was shot dead and eight left injured in a shooting in Amarillo, Texas.
But the deadliest shooting of the year, so far, was when four people were killed in Santa Rosa, California, on January 8.
The victims were all from the same family and identified as Clive Guth, 67, Donna Guth, 67 and their two adult children, Raena, 33, and Cameron, 28.
Clive and Donna were formerly married, according to cops.
They were found dead in different rooms of a mobile home.
Neighbors were left horrified by the discovery.
“It’s just a shock,” Geri Tapparo, a neighbor, told the CBS affiliate KPIX-TV.
