A TEENAGE girl has been mauled to death by a lion who snatched her from a ranch.
The 14-year-old’s body was found by park rangers after they followed a bloodstained trail across a national park in Nairobi.

According to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), a lioness discovered a child near a residential compound located on a ranch adjacent to Nairobi National Park.
Another teenager raised the alarm to KWS rangers shortly after the girl was ruthlessly attacked.
Officials then followed tracks to the Mbagathi River where they mae the grim discovery of the girl’s remains.
The lion is still on the loose with rangers setting out traps to try and catch it.
Search teams are also spread across the region to look for the beast.
Nairobi National Park sits just six miles from the centre of the Kenyan capital.
Dozens of lions, buffalo, giraffes, leopards and cheetahs also roam the grounds.
Another animal attack also rocked Kenya over the weekend after a 54-year-old man was trampled by an elephant, say KWS.
The tragic end took place on Saturday in the central Nyeri country some 80 miles north of Nairobi.
The elephant was grazing in Mere Forest when it attacked the man.
He was left with serious chest injuries, fractured ribs and internal trauma before being rushed to hospital.
The man died from his injuries shortly after arriving.
In 2019, a lion mauled a man to death after escaping from Nairobi National Park.
The big cat killed Rono Kipkirui Simion outside the park shortly after he went missing as he was heading home from work.
