Horror moment plane crashes into Minnesota home killing all on board & engulfing house in raging inferno

A PLANE has crashed into a house in Minnesota, engulfing the home in flames and killing everyone on board.

The jet came down in Brooklyn Park, near Minneapolis, at around 12:20 pm on Saturday afternoon.

Ring doorbell footage appears to capture the moment the plane plummets from the sky.

And dramatic clips posted to social media shows a house totally consumed by a crackling furnace amongst trees.

Fire crews steam onto the scene to tackle the blaze as thick smoke billows into the sky.

They can be heard ordering local residents to stand back from the flames.

The building was gutted by the blaze within a matter of minutes.

Locals in the surrounding area have been evacuated from their homes until the scene is under control.

Officials said that everyone on board the plane died, but didn’t specify how many.

They added that, fortunately, nobody was inside the building when the plane hit.

A small plane had departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was heading to Anoke County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis, as reported by the Federal Aviation Administration.

The aircraft was a SOCATA TBM-700, which can carry up to six people, the agency said.

The FAA added: “We do not yet know how many people were on board.”

The flight was just eight miles from its destination when it fell from the sky.

Minnesota governor Tim Walz stated, “My team is in contact with the local authorities in Brookly Park, and we are keeping a close watch on the situation.”

“Grateful to the first responders answering the call.”

The accident happened near the intersection of 108th Avenue North and Noble Avenue.

Saturday’s crash is the latest in a string of air accidents across the US.

The most devastating was a mid-air collision between an American Airlines passenger plane and a military helicopter.

All 67 on board the two vehicles died after the wreckage crashed down into the Potomac river.

Two week ago, terrified American Airlines passengers were forced to escape a burning plane by climbing onto the wing.

The jet’s engine suddenly burst into flames at the Denver airport, forcing passengers to escape amid smoke billowing across the runway.

Before that, a major fire was sparked when another plane crashed into a retirement village parking lot earlier this month.

Five people were injured in the accident in Manheim, Pennsylvania, and a number of cars set alight.

The plane avoided smashing into buildings by mere metres, but landed on top of parked vehicles.

And six were killed when a medical jet plunged into a Philadelphia street last month.

One of the victims was a young girl who had just left hospital after undergoing life-saving surgery.
