President Donald Trump used a simple trick to enjoy his favorite fast food while he lost 30 pounds.
Fox News’ host Sean Hannity revealed the president’s diet trick during an interview with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
‘If he has a burger now, he usually doesn’t have it with a bun,’ Hannity said.
He then added: ‘I hope I’m not revealing something I shouldn’t.’
Donald Trump, who is 78 years old, has a well-known affection for fast food. His favorite is McDonald’s, and he particularly enjoys the Quarter Pounder. He also has a preference for well-done steaks, indulges in Oreos to satisfy his sweet tooth, and consumes up to twelve diet cokes daily. Interestingly, he has a button on his desk in the Oval Office that allows him to easily summon a diet coke at any time.
But he lost 30 pounds last year during the height of the presidential campaign.
Hannity, however, said the president was ‘getting healthier’ and ‘looks great.’

Trump doesn’t hide his love for McDonald’s. In the past, he even spent time working at one of the branches in Pennsylvania during his presidential campaign. He was seen taking drive-thru orders and serving up fries to customers.
But he also sparked talk he was on a diet when he appeared much more svelte.
There was speculation he had taken weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic or Wegovy.
Trump finally addressed his dramatic physical change. He told Fox News‘ Brian Kilmeade: ‘[I did it] the hard way. I work.’
In one of his statements, Trump mentioned, ‘I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to eat very much. I’m not able to sit down and eat like a person like you – you can sit down and eat. Me, it’s a little bit tougher.’ This indicates that his hectic schedule influences his eating habits.
He added he was ‘fighting shape’ and had lost between 15 and 20 pounds since his campaign began.
Melania Trump also helped with the president’s weight loss.
The first lady, who eats healthy foods and avoids alcohol, helped her husband eat healthier and avoid the Mar-a-Lago dessert buffet, which includes over two dozen homemade cakes, puddings, and tortes.
Ahead of the rigors of the 2024 presidential election, Trump’s doctor Bruce Aronwald issued a positive but vague assessment of the former president’s health, calling it ‘excellent.’
‘President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, while maintaining a rigorous schedule,’ Aronwald wrote.
But the report did not include his weight, blood pressure, what medications he takes, his cholesterol, or even how much weight he had dropped.
Trump will have his first physical as president next month at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the White House announced in early March.
His final physical of his first term found him to be obese with elevated blood pressure. While he does enjoy fast food, Trump does not smoke or drink.
