The officers are accused of sending explicit messages on the National Security Agency’s “Intelink” platform.

And, the alleged messages were sexual in nature and discussed issues like gender transition surgery, as reported by The New York Times.

The allegations were first reported by the conservative activist Christopher Rufo.

Appearing on Fox News last night, Gabbard slammed the officers for what she described as an “egregious violation of trust.”

“What to speak of, like basic rules and standards around professionalism,” she told Fox News star Jesse Watters.

Gabbard said the officers allegedly at fault were brazen when they used the platform.

She has promised to “clean house” and “root out corruption.”

Gabbard explained that this would help restore trust in government institutions.

And, it would mark the end to the so-called weaponization and politicization of government.

Alexa Henning, Gabbard’s spokesperson, disclosed that a memo had been dispatched to all intelligence agencies to locate the officers who engaged in the chatrooms.

Their security clearances would be revoked and they would be fired, according to an X thread.

The deadline for a response is Friday.

Gabbard has vowed that action is already “underway” when it comes to identifying the officers.

The National Security Agency has issued a statement in light of the reports.

Tulsi Gabbard’s Democratic Party Departure

When did Tulsi Gabbard leave the Democratic Party?

Although she ran for president as a Democrat in 2020, Tulsi Gabbard announced in October 2022 that she was leaving the party

Gabbard criticized the Democrats for showing hostility towards individuals of faith and spirituality, vilifying law enforcement while safeguarding criminals at the cost of law-abiding citizens.

Furthermore, she alleged that the Democratic establishment supports the concept of open borders and exploits the national security apparatus to target their political adversaries.

She feared the country was being dragged closer to nuclear war

Before endorsing Donald Trump, Gabbard even appeared at the 2024 Conservative Political Action Conference as a featured speaker.

“NSA is aware of posts that appear to show inappropriate discussions by IC personnel,” they said.

“IC collaboration platforms are intended to drive mission outcomes.”

The organization claimed any misuse doesn’t represent the agency.

“Investigations to address this misuse of government systems are ongoing,” they said.

Gabbard was nominated to be Trump’s Director of National Intelligence – months after she endorsed him to be president.

She was a former Democratic congressman representing Hawaii before she switched to the Republican Party.

Gabbard left the Democrats in 2022 and slammed Joe Biden’s foreign policy.

She claimed that it had pushed the US closer to a global conflict.

Gabbard backed Trump to be president because he was committed to pursue peace.

“Trump understands the grave responsibility we all bear,” she said.

“This administration has us facing multiple wars on multiple fronts in regions around the world, and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we ever have been before.”

Gabbard, who previously served in warzones, was grilled during her confirmation hearing.

She was confirmed by the Senate on a 52-48 margin.

Republican grandee Mitch McConnell was the only GOP senator to vote against Gabbard.
