AT least two people have been killed and nine injured in a mass shooting.
Philadelphia cops revealed that three teens were among those wounded following the horror that unfolded on Memorial Day.Â
Two individuals, a male, and a female, tragically lost their lives when gunfire erupted at a park in the city. The park had been a gathering place for families earlier in the day, as they came together to mark Memorial Day.
Their identities have not yet been released.
The three injured teens, 15, 16, and 17, are said to be in a stable condition at the hospital.
The other injured victims are also stable, according to police.
Cops revealed that several rounds were fired and are hunting several suspects, as reported by the NBC affiliate WCAU-TV.
Police are also yet to find any weapons related to the shooting.Â
Cops sealed off the park as part of their probe and say the investigation remains ongoing.
A mass shooting is an incident where there are at least four casualties or fatalities, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
So far this year, there have been more than 120 mass shootings across the US.

Meanwhile, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, three people were found shot to death inside a home.
The victims were identified as Stephen Bockemeier, 76, and his wife Marcia, 77.
The couple’s adult son, Erik, 48, was also found dead inside the home.
Cops are probing their deaths as a suspected murder suicide.
The couple’s other son, Andrew, died by suicide and cops say it’s likely he shot his parents and older brother.
