Alabama authorities have arrested two men for the shooting death of an 18-year-old man after he attended a high school prom seven moths ago.
Delvin Tarver was discovered fatally shot while sitting in a car in the parking lot of a drug store in Union Springs on the 4th of May. According to court records, Tarver was in a vehicle with friends following the Bullock County High School prom when they ended up in a CVS parking lot.
Witnesses reported that an altercation broke out in the parking lot, which quickly escalated into a shooting. Unfortunately, Tarver was hit in the head by a bullet during the incident. He was rushed to a hospital but was tragically pronounced dead.
This week, Anthony Donzell Jackson and Freddie James Williams Jr., both 22 years old, were taken into custody and charged with capital murder. Law enforcement authorities revealed that the fatal shot that took Tarver’s life was fired from a gun discovered at Williams’ residence.
Tarver was a senior at Auburn High School, where he played on the football team and was a memboer of the school’s honor society.
