UKRAINE has reportedly blinded eight Russian drone operators in a sophisticated operation using explosive military goggles.
There are concerns that Zelensky’s soldiers may have rigged headsets used to control UAVs through a mysterious volunteer group, similar to a strategy employed by the IDF known as the Israeli pager blitz.

The apparent sabotage mission caught Putin’s drone troops off-guard as the glasses were reportedly rigged to blow up when turned on.
Both the Russian and Ukrainian armies have relied on donations as they rush to replenish frontline supplies.
Dozens of goggle explosions have been reported by troops since mid-February, according to defence site Militarnyi.
Around 80 sets of Skyzone Cobra FPV goggles were donated to different units of Putin’s army by an NGO this year, it was reported.
Each group is said to have received the items for free from the same organisation.
The first headset explosion was reported on February 4, when a pair detonated while on an operator’s face.
Seven more blasts were then reported over the next three days in the Kursk, Donetsk, and Luhansk areas.
Some of these goggles, however, were intercepted and inspected by Russian forces, where they made a shocking discovery.
A video shows the military goggles being taken apart to reveal a white powder.
Around 10 to 15 grams of plastic explosives were allegedly found inside these glasses.
Vlad’s men claimed these goggles were altered to add a remote detonation feature that would blow up when used to cause maximum damage.
Kyiv has been accused of capitalising on these donations to catch out Russian soldiers when they least expect it, but Ukraine is yet to confirm this.
The attacks resembled the pager bombs Israel carried out on Hezbollah fighters last year – leaving at least nine dead and over 2,000 injured.
Militants were caught out by pagers that secretly included a battery filled with explosives.

These stealthy detonators were even built to go undetected through X-rays and all the pagers were programmed to blow at the same time.
Israeli Mossad forces even circulated fake online stories to deceive Hezbollah about these deadly pagers’ larger-than-usual size.
At least 9 people were killed and around 3,000 injured when several pagers exploded simultaneously in Lebanon, in September 2024.
SNEAKY SURPRISE
This has not been the first time Ukraine has reportedly used booby traps to catch out Russian invaders.
Israeli pager bombs
ISRAEL caught Hezbollah off-guard with a sophisticated plot to infiltrate enemy lines with explosive pages.
Several of these sneaky bombs were detonated simultaneously across Lebanon in September 2024.
At least nine people, including the Iranian ambassador, were killed and nearly 3,000 people were injured in this shock attack.
Mossad agents were able to create booby-trap pager devices that concealed deadly components within them.
Batteries inside the pagers were small but had enough plastic explosives and detonator to blow up.
Despite being larger in size, these fatal additions were hidden so they would not show up on X-rays.
Mossad agents also planted fake stories online to deter any suspicions about these new pagers’ larger size.
Israel also carefully planted explosives in walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah agents.
These killed at least 20 people when they went off and blew up in their hands.

An apparent Ukrainian assassin planted a bomb in an e-scooter that killed a top Russian general.
Incredible footage caught the moment the scooter exploded outside a central Moscow block of flats.
General Igor Kirillov, 54, died after this bomb as he and his assistant Ilya Polikarpov left the apartment building.
Around 200g of TNT stuck to the scooter is believed to have been detonated remotely.

SHOCK DEVELOPMENTS
Donald Trump has ignited a dramatic and surprise feud between the US and Ukraine.
The US President branded Zelenksy a “dictator” while attempting to negotiate peace talks with Russia and without Ukraine.
Ukraine’s leader furiously hit back and accused Trump of living in a “Russian disinformation bubble”.
America also pulled the plug on a joint press conference with itself and Ukraine on Thursday.
Zelensky met with US envoy Keith Kellogg in Kyiv but their news conference, which was due to follow, was cancelled last-minute
This request was made at the request of US officials, Zelensky’s office said.

Wrong, Donald
The Sun Says…
Despite Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated accusations labeling the Ukrainian government as con artists who instigated a war with the help of American taxpayers, such claims are unbecoming of his position.
Almost nothing in it is true.
It reads like a post on a forum for conspiracy theorists. It is an unprecedentedly shocking statement from the President of the United States.
Vladimir Putin has made no secret of his imperialist ambitions, nor his denial of his neighbour’s right to exist as a sovereign, free country.
He invaded Ukraine, butchered and raped its people, stole its children and bombed its cities.
President Zelensky, rather than deceiving anyone or provoking conflict, stands as a courageous leader during wartime, in urgent need of Western support to navigate extremely difficult circumstances.
The idea he is riding a “gravy train” is laughable. And his people, with whom he remains highly popular whatever Trump claims, have resisted conquest with immense bravery.
It is troubling and short-sighted in the extreme for the so-called leader of the free world to have no interest in a war raging in Europe because he is separated from it by the Atlantic.
America is not a business where Trump, as CEO, has no task except to slash costs and maximise profits. It is the most powerful democracy on Earth with global responsibilities and — let’s be frank — a duty to discern right from wrong with absolute moral clarity.
Others in the White House should urgently point this out.
