Florida police announced on Friday that a 12-year-old girl who vanished in 2023 has been found dead.
A recent report by WCTV revealed that Lori Paige’s remains were discovered at Merrily Plantation in Thomas County on April 5. The main suspect in this case is Paige’s father, Andrew Wiley, who has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Initially, Wiley had reported Paige as missing, stating that she had left their home with a backpack while he was on a night shift. However, as the investigation progressed, Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell pointed out inconsistencies in Wiley’s story.
Further details provided by the Talahassee Democrat stated that in February, the police had confiscated Wiley’s phone. Upon examination, it was revealed that the phone had been used to search for remote bodies of water in Alabama and Georgia.
