CHICAGO (WLS) — There’s a citywide job fair starting Wednesday.
The Chicago Urban League, in proud partnership with Jobcase, is excited to announce the 12th Annual Citywide Job Fair,
The job fair will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road.
The event will feature more than 100 employers and thousands of job seekers from across the city.
Karen Freeman-Wilson, the President and CEO of the Chicago Urban League, emphasized that the event symbolizes their continuous dedication to achieving economic fairness and providing job opportunities for all communities. She highlighted that by bringing together employers and job seekers in a single location, they are facilitating the creation of pathways leading to long-term success.
Andrew Wells, the Vice President of Workforce Development at the Chicago Urban League, stated that the Citywide Job Fair has become a leading event in workforce development. He expressed that the fair plays a crucial role in connecting employers in search of diverse talent with job seekers who are exploring new career possibilities. Attendees, ranging from entry-level individuals to seasoned professionals, will have the opportunity to discover job openings across various industries such as healthcare, technology, finance, hospitality, public service, manufacturing, and more.
